Jean studied abroad in England where she earned a Master's degree in Education and gained a lifelong obsession with European travel. Jean has been leading tours for over a decade and has a loyal following of repeat customers who love her customized, small group trips.

Since 2013, Cheryl has served as Jean’s assistant extraordinaire, planning and co-leading AYLIT adventures abroad. Having loved books for as long as she can remember, Cheryl enjoys visiting the home of her favorite British authors (William Shakespeare, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Daphne du Maurier, and Kazuo Ishiguro, to name a few) and introducing folks to the beauty of the United Kingdom. Our trip participants appreciate Cheryl’s behind-the-scenes attention to detail, her calm demeanor, and her very British wit.

As a former Tourism & Events Coordinator and Social Media Marketing guru, Emmeline has a knack for details, photography, networking, and sharing her love of travel with others. Her background in management and customer service makes her uniquely capable of providing clients with the best experience and ensuring our travelers feel comfortable. Emmeline enjoys assisting our lead guides on trips, taking photos and videos of the places we visit, and sharing those memories with you.
